Information we collect

Our enquiry form collects your name, contact details, enquiry topic and the message or product information you provide. Our job form may collect your name, contact details, role preference and the information you include about yourself.

How we use it

We use enquiries to answer your questions and product requests to understand customer demand and respond to you. We use job applications to assess interest in working with Day View and to contact suitable applicants.

Email newsletter

If you choose to sign up, we collect your email address, the consent wording you accepted, its version and the submission time. Your signup is sent to our shop inbox through FormSubmit. We use your consent to send Day View offers, new arrivals and news. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@dayview.co.uk with “unsubscribe”. We keep your signup while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we retain only the information needed to record your preference and prevent further marketing.

Form delivery

Website forms are delivered to us using FormSubmit. FormSubmit states that submissions may be retained for up to 30 days. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep product requests only while they are useful for responding and making stocking decisions. Recruitment information is normally kept for no longer than six months unless we ask your permission to retain it longer.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it. Email info@dayview.co.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Analytics and cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and whether they use our call, email, WhatsApp channel or directions links or successfully send a form. Google may process information about your device, browser and activity to provide these reports. We do not send the contents of your forms, your name or your contact details to Google Analytics.

Analytics only loads after you accept it. We do not enable Google advertising features or Google signals. Google Analytics uses cookies named _ga and _ga_* with a six-month lifetime, which may be renewed when you visit. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for six months. You can reject analytics or withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Rejecting analytics does not affect your ability to use the website.

Google may process information outside the UK. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

OpenAI advertising measurement

With your measurement consent, we use the OpenAI Pixel to record when you click a Google Maps directions link. This helps us understand whether our ChatGPT advertisements lead people to request directions. A directions click is not proof of a shop visit or purchase.

The Pixel processes browser and event information and an OpenAI ad-click reference when available. Its first-party cookies are __oppref (up to 30 days) and __obref (up to 365 days). Automatic advanced matching may detect supported contact details entered on this site, normalize and hash them in your browser and send the hashes to OpenAI to match conversions. Our directions event does not include form answers or a purchase value, and it opts out of future user-level personalization.

The Pixel loads only after you accept the updated measurement choice. Your previous Google Analytics choice does not automatically enable OpenAI. Use Cookie settings to reject measurement or withdraw consent; future events stop and the Pixel cookies are removed. OpenAI may process data outside the UK. See the OpenAI privacy policy.
